Registration for the Sacrament of Confirmation Preparation proegram for 2023-2024 is now open. See Registation Process on this page.
"Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who went down and prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for it had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit."
- Acts 8:14-17
The two-year program is open to 8th grade to 11th grade teens who are baptized and have completed the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
It is expected that youth enrolling in the program can complete the program and have previously developed their Catholic faith through religious education classes, homestudy, or Catholic school.
Preparation for Confirmation requires attending scheduled classes and regular attendance at Mass, completion of two Confirmation retreats (one for each year of the program), completion of two service projects and personal growth essays and final evaluation by the pastor on the teen's readiness to receive the sacrament.
